Excellent food every time, and the staff are welcoming and kind! I've enjoyed the tacos al pastor, both the chicken and carne asada burritos, as well as the quesadilla.

Have gone back a bunch of times and it just hits the spot every time. Quality is great, good portions and still the best pastor in Utah hands down. Staff is super friendly as well.

Nice big parking lot. No wait at lunch on a Monday. The employee (owner?) was super friendly. Very fast service. I've only ever gotten the Al pastor tacos at the other location and decided to try the tostadas based on this location's Yelp reviews. I'm happy I did! The tinga chicken was moist and good. I loved the toppings. The salty cheese was especially good on top. And of course, the Al pastor meat was flavorful and amazing. I instructed my friend to get an Al pastor burrito also based on these reviews and he said it was really good. Happy to have one of these closer to my house!

I'm always excited to find an authentic Mexican restaurant with street tacos, and El Morelense delivered just that. Their menu isn't robust, and you won't find a giant plate covered with beans, rice and the works. Rather, you get simple food that you can garnish with toppings at the bar to make it your own. I prefer my food simple, so I left it as-is. My wife ordered a quesadilla and accompanied it with a red and a green sauce-both were flavorful as well as a bit hot. Service was terrific. The man behind the counter thanked us a couple of times for coming in-he might be the owner. I could tell he cares about his business and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. I enjoyed my tacos and I hear the quesadilla was pretty good too.

I hadn't eaten a good authentic burrito in a minute. That changed today. I decided to try something new today and El Morelense was my choice. First thing I noticed about the place is that it was very busy during lunch time and how clean the place was. It also feels very open and welcoming. The staff is so friendly. Everyone smiled at me and the gentleman that took my order was the nicest and gave me some recommendation--thanks for the push on upgrading my água de piña. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was delicious. Tortilla was crispy on the outside, never soggy, burrito never fell apart, you can taste the flavor of the carne asada, the rice, beans, guacamole, and pico were also very delicious and noticeable. I'm so happy I finally found this place. The selection of salsas at the salsa bar is also very solid. The green salsa and the spicier tomatillo salsa were so delicious and added even more flavor to the burrito. The água the piña was super fresh and tasted just like the pineapple juice I grew up making in Brasil. I can't wait to come back here and bring my wife and daughter to try El Morelense's delicious food.

People at my office have been talking about this place for a while, and I finally get to try it. This is hands-down, one of the best options for Mexican food around the area. I really like the variety of options we can never go wrong with a little sauce/toppings station. The place looks clean and friendly. I will most definitely come back in the future, especially when I need a yummy lunch break.

This place definitely satisfied my taco craving! The moment you open the door, you can smell all the spices and flavors. The service is quick and there is plenty of indoor seating. My husband ordered three tacos: chicken, chorizo, and carne asada all on flour tortillas. His favorite was the chicken. I ordered a carne asada taco and an al pastor taco on corn tortillas. The al pastor came with a piece of grilled pineapple on top and it was so good! The carne asada was a bit over cooked and chewy. Each taco came with a very generous amount of meat. We also got a carne asada tostada but preferred the tacos. They have toppings and salsas you can add after you receive your order.

How long has this place been open I drive by here occasionally and have never noticed this hidden gem. From the very moment you walk up to the place it just looks like this is the spot! You walk in and your hopes and dreams appear to be coming true ... you see the highly detailed pictures of the food and you swear you're going to start salivating. The ordering process is simple. It's not an extensive menu which means they don't freeze the inventory; it's all fresh. I ordered three tacos. Al Pastor, Carne Asada amd La Lengua (tongue). Served on a grilled double layered corn tortilla, street taco style $3.25 per taco. All three, the meats were very tender and flavorful. The salsa bar was on point. I was warned that the red salsa was hot. Not bad. Perfect amount of kick. The pico de gallo was fresh and cut fine. Yes I did get a Flan and it was dense, sweet amd satisfyingly sweet! The dining space is spacious and the tables clean. My new spot. Come support this local business
